In tennis, Sumit Nagal exited in the opening round after a tough match against France’s Corentin Moutet. In boxing, Nikhat Zareen advanced past Maxi Kloetzer in the Round of 32. Rohan Bopanna and N Sriram Balaji faced defeat against Gael Monfils and Edouard Roger-Vasselin, halting their progress in the men’s doubles.
